President's Letter - 08/12/2006

ATTENTION, IMPORTANT ANOUNCEMENT!
Thanks to all the great programs we have had, our club meetings have been some of the most interesting yet. In June, we had Patrick High present a history of triathletes in Highlands and the first ever triathalon in Sebring followed in July, which was a great event by the way. Then, in July we had Laura Maibouer, a certified nutrician, talk about sports related diets; and at tha August meeting we had our own Darrell Smith give us a great history lesson on the Hammock State Park. If you are not coming to the meetings you are missing out.
But, that's not why I am writing today. It's that time of the year when we start getting ready for the Labor Day ride. Our club marks the roads so that our visitors and local riders can find them during the event.
